The Ytinu Codex describes Ytinu City not as a brand, not as a community platform, but as a prototype civilisation — a working model of a different social, economic, and governance architecture, tested with real participants before it is implemented at scale. That is a specific claim. It demands specificity about what a civilisation actually contains, and how the build differs from a typical community.
What a Civilisation Actually Requires
A civilisation, at minimum, needs six systems running at once:
- An identity system — who belongs and how that is expressed.
- A governance structure — how collective decisions get made.
- An economic system — how value is created, measured, and exchanged.
- A social architecture — how members actually relate to each other.
- A time system — how the community organises its cycles.
- A value framework — the principles everything else answers to.

Identity: The Thirteen Houses
Identity runs on 13 houses, each an archetype mapped to a node of Metatron's Cube. Every house has a creature, an element, a Kabbalistic node, a motto, a value set, and a psychological profile. You choose your house once and that choice is permanent — no sorting, no switching. Progress is then measured across the nine human attributes (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Vitality, Stamina, Mana, Charisma, Perception, Spirit) rather than the single dimension of money, and standing climbs a Fibonacci sovereignty ladder from The Asleep to The Apex.
Governance, Social Layer, and Values
Governance is anchored by Foundation Pass holders — the 1,000 numbered founding positions — who carry early voice in the city's decisions. The principle behind it is "early belief earns early voice," not "the loudest wins." The social architecture is live now: a Discord with house channels and cross-house spaces, and the Skool Inner Circle with classrooms, challenges, and a nine-level progression ladder from Observer to Forged. Time: The Ytinu Accord
The city runs on its own calendar. The Ytinu Accord is 13 months of exactly 28 days — four seven-day cycles each — plus one Void Day at the winter solstice that belongs to no house and exists outside the year. Every date falls on the same weekday every year. One month per house, one zodiac sign per month, including Ophiuchus restored as the thirteenth. It is not decoration; it is the operating clock of a society that rejected the calendar it was handed.
Built by One Founder and a Team of Agents
The build itself is part of the experiment. Ytinu City is being assembled by a single founder, Marcus McGrath, using AI agents as the workforce — research, design, copy, operations, and world-building handled by a coordinated set of agents rather than a staffed company. This is not a side detail; it is a demonstration of the thesis.
